Default Can$ vs US$

Now that the Canadian dollar is nearly at prime with the US dollar, the discussion turns to whether or not this is a good thing. I'm going to NAR in San Diego in a few weeks so I'm quite pleased about this, however that is a bit self serving and short sighted. What do you think? What is the optimum value our dollar should be against the US dollar to maximize our economy?
